The Family Crisis Center, Inc. is looking for a part-time Victims' Advocates at the Domestic Violence Shelter. Shift available is from 6PM to 8AM on Sunday and Monday nights.
Responsibilities include:

Effectively answer crisis hot line to provide education, advocacy, and referrals.

Demonstrate a professional attitude in dealing with clients, staff, and other professionals.

Complete initial intake and exit procedures.

Be able to maintain working relationship with client while providing necessary services to help clients reach their goals.

Facilitate group and individual advocacy services.

Assist shelter residents with daily living and parenting activities

Refer to community resources and services necessary for shelter residents and their children

Ensure accurate documentation including case note documentation.

Ensure compliance with agency/shelter policies and procedures.

Complete assigned night or weekend duties.

Maintain the enforcement of Shelter Guidelines.

Assist in the orientation of new staff and volunteers.

Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings.

Attend and participate regularly in case consultation with staff.
